I relate to what Nick Carr was saying about "Abundantly abundant abundance"
Carr was referring to the overload of videos, graphics, photos, and pages in MySpace, Facebook and many other personal Social Networking tools. The overload causes fatigue, exhaustion and confusion.
This is one challenge in mainstream social networking. In enterprises, I think we need to focus more of our efforts in the small niches of interests and topic areas. We also need to train our learners to focus on valuable content that impacts their performance.
Amidst all the abundance of technological prowess, there is a need to focus on micro-learnings and micro-groups. This is exactly what Chris Anderson talks about in the Long Tail.
