Micro-Learning and Sharing is the foundation of my research
on 3-Minute e-Learning. The ability to learn quickly, instantly
and conveniently. And Twitter pushes the learning to really be
at the smallest level.
Jakob Nielsen believes Twitters are good for updates on specific
information, like the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
See Business Week Interview.
However, Nielsen suggests that we need to consider the potential
downside of interruptions and reduction in worker productivity.
I think Twitter and many of the Web 2.0 tools are here to stay, but
they work best when users discover how they serve to improve
their lives.
